How to enjoy the Galapagos?
In the Galapagos, we strongly encourage our customers to choose the cruise, because it alone allows you to access the most interesting uninhabited islands and the richest in fauna and flora.
We suggest cruises of 4 to 7 nights on small boats of 12 to 16 seats maximum, of which we are certain of the good value for money and the interest of the proposed itinerary. Snorkeling is possible every day during a cruise.
You should know that a stay in a hotel can cause several inconveniences:
First of all, it is not necessarily cheaper than a cruise, especially if you want to do interesting day trips (these are very expensive)
The freely accessible sites on the inhabited islands (Santa Cruz, Isabela and San Cristobal) are singularly lacking in interest compared to the rest of the archipelago.
The quality-price ratio of hotels often leaves something to be desired.
In short, many people return disappointed from a hotel stay, given the investment and the discrepancy between the image we can have and reality. We are at your disposal to discuss it with you of course.
However, a stay in a hotel should be considered in the event of severe seasickness or if you are traveling with young children (under 10 years old).

How many regions can you visit in 2 or 3 weeks?
If you have 2 weeks, we advise you to limit yourself to the Andes and one of the other regions (Amazon, Pacific coast or Galapagos). 2 full weeks exclusively in the Andes can also be a good option.
In 3 weeks you can visit the Andes, the Amazon and the Pacific coast OR the Galapagos.
A full month can allow you to discover the 4 regions.
What budget should you plan?
As our stays are exclusively tailor-made and individual, it is difficult to answer this question precisely for Ecuador. The price depends on the category of accommodation, the number of participants, the type of support (guide or driver), meals and activities included.
On the other hand, in the Galapagos, if you want to discover the archipelago in good conditions, you must spend a minimum of 1600 USD per person for 5 days/4 nights, domestic return flights included, whether in a hotel or on a cruise .
Below this budget, this would mean that interesting excursions would not be planned, those which allow you to observe marine and terrestrial fauna in their natural environment.
